According to reports, at least 9 people were killed and 29 others were injured in a blast at a police station in Nowgam near the city of Shringar in Indian-controlled Kashmir on Friday, November 14, with some of the injured being in critical condition.

Reports added that the incident occurred when police officers and members of the forensic and crime team were busy examining and transporting the seized explosives.
