The Ministry of Refugee and Repatriation Affairs has announced that 11,124 Afghans have returned to their country from Pakistan and 4,936 from Iran.
According to officials; the refugees who returned from Pakistan have returned to the country through Torkham, Spin Boldak, Angor Adda and Bahramcha.
It should be noted that the third phase of deportation of Afghans has begun in the Pakistani capital Islamabad and other states from September 1, and the police have also started door-to-door operations.
In this phase, those Afghans who do not have legal documents and who also have “POR” cards registered with the United Nations are also at risk of deportation.
It is worth noting that since the beginning of this year, Pakistan has forcibly sent more than 300,000 Afghans and Iran have forcibly sent 1.8 million refugees to Afghanistan.
