Local government officials in Jawzjan said that eight people were killed and four others were injured in a traffic accident on the Balkh-Jawzjan road in the “Aqcha” district of the province.
According to the Jawzjan Police Headquarters, the accident occurred last night when a car overturned in the “Chakish” area of ​​​​Aqcha district.
The cause of this accident has been attributed to the carelessness of drivers.
It should be noted that traffic accidents in the country have increased dramatically for the past four years, and the main reasons for this are the carelessness of drivers, bad roads, speeding, and failure to comply with traffic rules.
A few days ago, the Ministry of Interior of the government also banned left-hand drive vehicles in order to prevent traffic accidents in the country.
