The Afghan Ministry of Public Health said that as part of India’s assistance, this time the country donated 16 tons of medicines and medical equipment to support the health sector and prevent diseases.
The Ministry of Public Health said on Sunday that this assistance from India to the Afghan health sector is part of the country’s ongoing commitment to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
It also added that the purpose of this assistance is to build capacity to combat some diseases such as malaria, dengue fever and leishmaniasis.
It should be said that this assistance confirms India’s role as a reliable partner in the areas of health, stability and humanitarian cooperation in the region.
